Where to start when blogging for the first time, i have no idea?
Suggestion..... lets try telling cyberspace about my day.
This morning my husband got up at the crack of dawn as usual, 3.30am to be precise. After he left for work i also got up, as i do every morning, to lock the door behind him.
Why doesn't he lock it himself i hear you ask? The answer to this is because we only have one key to the house. Why haven't we had another key cut? Because it's on my list of things to do along with defrost the freezer, de-clutter the house, clear out my wardrobe, etc.
I'm a dreadfully disorganised procrastinator that lives by lists of things to do that hardly ever seem to get done. I have the concentration span of a gnat and the ability to drift off into a daydream at the drop of a hat. See what i mean, i'm doing it now.
Back to today... First job of the day was to feed and change my baby girl before her big sister woke up. I managed this successfully and was amazed that i even managed some breakfast before my little lady woke up shouting 'Mummy up now'!
I opened her bedroom door to be greeted by tousled hair and rosy cheeks. 'Did you have a lovely sleep?' i asked, 'yes' came the whisper. 'Would you like to get up now?' i whispered back. 'I want to see Daddy' she answered, then proceeded to chant 'Daddy, Daddy', until i explained to her that Daddy wasn't coming home for breakfast this morning.
'Oh' she said, 'i want to see my sister'.
Breakfast (shreddies and sultanas) was eaten with great enthusiasm before she demanded to be let out of the high chair so that she could see (torment) her baby sister.
My brother in law rang whilst my little girl was still slowly chewing through her burnt piece of toast, to see if he could borrow the PC to check his emails, as his broadband still hasn't arrived. 'No problem' i said. 'Just give me 20 minutes to get dressed as i'm still in my pyjamas'. The time? About 9.30. He informed me he'd been up since 6!
My brother in law has borrowed the PC a couple of times before for various things, mainly emails. He came round the other day to do just that. When my husband got home that evening, my daughter (not yet 2) met him at the door. 'Daddy!' she shouted. 'Hello sweetheart, what have you been up to today?' said Daddy. 'Uncle's been round' she informed him. 'He's been pressing Mummy's buttons!'
After my brother in law had finished checking emails and had gone home, the rest of the day was just filled with feeding and watering my brood. I even managed to make a vegetarian lasagne for tea which is a miracle in itself.
My husband arrived home about 6.30 which meant that we all got to eat together as a family. After tea i checked my own emails, after which it was time to put my girls to bed. After tucking them both in and kissing their soft cheeks goodnight i managed to sit down with my husband for a few moments before we to decided to call it a night.
My husband quite happily drifted off to the land of nod whilst i lay there wide awake! I'd been thinking about creating my own blog for a while but was stuck on what to call myself. It came to be in a flash of inspiration! Bohemian Mummy. The name's not that exciting i hear you say. No it's not, but it just about sums me up!
So the Bohemian Mummy's blog is born. Now i really must get some sleep as i have to be up in about 2 1/2 hours to lock the door!

Hiya BM! Fantastic, you've created a blog and it's wonderful too. It will be so nice to get to know more about you. Your day sound divine apart from having to lock the door at 3am! And if it's any consolation, we only have one key too but if you saw the back door, you'd understand why, it's rather old.
CJ xx
p.s. I have put you on my blogroll so that I can follow you regularly.

Good luck with your blog, your key problem reminded me of the time we only had one pair of laces for our shoes and had to wait for the other one to come in...... I did eventually buy another pair but remembering to do it was the problem too many things on my mind.
